Tony Kart Racing Team debuted the new OMP’s KS-X Art suit

The new KS-X Art suit from OMP made its racing debut at the FIA Karting World Championship in Portimão reserved for shifter classes. For the occasion, the Tony Kart Racing Team factory drivers took to the track by wearing the new model at the top of our kartwear range, already in the 2025 livery.

The ultralight, fully printed KS-X Art once again puts OMP at the forefront of the industry for safety and performance. It is designed to meet the new FIA 8877 homologation standard, the most advanced ever for karting equipment.

In accordance with the latest requirements, the KS-X Art suit had to pass even more severe abrasion tests, introducing stronger materials while still retaining a similar weight as the previous model. At the same time, levels of comfort, elasticity and breathability were further raised through intensive research and development on construction, modeling and stitching. OMP’s technical department was also able to transfer knowledge applied in racewear for car racing competitions.

Made entirely in Italy, the KS-X Art suit also enhances the potential of OMP’s patented sublimation printing technology through a higher-gloss outer fabric that further highlights the new Tony Kart look.

The style is always based on the distinctive red and green lines, a reference to wind tunnel testing, on a pearl-colored background, in continuity with the colors with which the manufacturer has won several titles since 2008. The all-Italian partnership between OMP and the brand of OTK Kart Group, which began in 2016, is now set off towards the next technological and sporting challenges.
